Description
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build high-scale digital infrastructure for Ethiopia's public and private sectors.
You'll work on systems that serve millions of users — from national healthcare platforms to enterprise industry management systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Experience with PostgreSQL, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure
- Understanding of system architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade web applications and APIs
- Collaborate with product architects to define system specifications
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and security at scale
